X-Men First Class Sequel To Film In January
By Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell on Apr 08, 2012 with Comments 0
The sequel to the critically acclaimed X-Men prequel has worked out all the kinks and plans to start filming in January of 2013. There were some tensions between Fox and Lionsgate concerning Jennifer Lawrence.
Lawrence, who plays Mystique in X-Men and Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, was fought over by both studios. There was some concern about filming schedules allowing her to appear in the sequel to both films. While what was worked out isn’t 100% clear, we do know that both films are going ahead and will indeed include Lawrence.
No plot details are known at this point but since filming is starting relatively soon, we can probably expect to hear some teasers and info in the coming months. Stars Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy are already locked in and the remainder of the class (that survived that is) are expected to return as well.
