Wolverine Shows Off His DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Costume In New Image

I’m not afraid to admit that I’m a fan of the X-Men films. Well, for the most part. But one of my biggest complaints has been the lack of originality in the costumes from the franchise. From the very beginning, we’ve been stuck with black “pleather” jumpsuits. As the franchise progressed, those were altered just a bit by adding small accents here and there. It wasn’t until X-Men: First Class that we finally got a bit of color with the blue and yellow team uniforms. Then, earlier this year, we learned that James Mangold
nearly put Wolverine in his classic costume, but it never made the cut.

In regards to Days of Future Past, we’ve seen a few glimpses of costumes and so far, we’ve gone back to the all black. Even Ian McKellen’s Magneto has donned the dark get-up. Looks as though Michael Fassbender’s version may still have his classic burgundy, however. Today, we have a brand new image that comes from the cover Studio Cine Live that puts Wolverine front and center in a costume we’ve yet to see. It’s pretty generic, but better than some we’ve seen in the past.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will hit theaters next summer and sees Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin and Lucas Till all reprise their roles. Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Evan Peters, BingBing Fan, BooBoo Stewart, Aden Canto and Josh Helman have all joined the cast as well.
