AvengersIn The Avengers, Loki and the Chitauri‘s attack nearly destroyed Stark Tower. Toward the very end of the movie the only thing left attached to the side of the building was a big letter “A” that was teasing the eventual construction of Avengers Tower. Fans expected to see the new home of The Avengers in Age of Ultron, but it turns out we’re going to see it a lot earlier than that. If you keep reading I’ll assume you’re OK with the spoiler. Turn away now if you’d rather be surprised by the Easter Egg.

So if you’re still reading I assume we’re good to go. OK, here it is. /Film asked Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about a neat Easter Egg in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. There’s a super brief cameo of the building in Cap‘s new movie. Feige told the site about the reveal:

You get a quick glimpse, I don’t know if you noticed, of the new Stark Tower – which is not the Stark Tower it’s the new Avengers Tower in Captain America: The Winter Soldier]. We show it in there. It goes by *snaps* real fast during that targeting sequence. But it’s there.

Now that Easter Egg confirms that we’ll see the building in Age of Ultron, as if there was ever any doubt. The only question is when did Tony Stark have time to work on it? He was pretty busy in Iron Man 3, and retired from being a hero at the end of the movie. I guess he had already paid some contractors. We’ll have to wait and see I guess. That’s not the only big link to future Marvel movies, but you’ll just have to wait to hear a certain name being dropped. What do you think about Avengers Tower already being finished?
