Justice League To Go Head To Head Against Marvel’s Avengers 2 in 2015!

Despite much speculation and negativity from fans, Warner Brothers and DC Comics insists that their film based on the Justice League is happening. We learned earlier this year that they have a completed script written by Will Beall, who wrote the upcoming Gangster Squad, but we have yet to see a director attached tot he project. Ben Affleck and the Wachowski Siblings were both rumored this past summer.
Today, we have learned that Warner Brothers and DC Comics have set a release date for summer of 2015, which happens to be around the same time that Marvel Studios releases the sequel to the massively successful Avengers. Details for the flick are very limited, but we have a hunch that the team will consist of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Flash. It’s speculated that Henry Cavill’s Superman will carry over to the shared film, but no confirmation has been given on that news. Theoretically, the characters would then have spin-offs from the team-up project, including Batman.
Earlier this year, The Dark Knight Rises helmer Christopher Nolan said that he was done with the Batman character and that he would not be returning in any capacity to the DC film universe after his executive producer role is completed on next year’s Man of Steel.

I’ll believe in a JL movie when I’m sitting in the theater and the end credits are rolling.
I tend to agree with that.
