Warner Brothers Casts Gal Gadot As Wonder Woman For BATMAN VS SUPERMAN

by

GadotWonderWomanIt’s been a long series of rumors for Batman vs Superman. None have really been confirmed, but the one that seem to intrigue fans the most is that Wonder Woman would be appearing in the film. Most people wrote it off a s pure speculation, and didn’t really give it much merit, but looks like we will indeed be getting Wonder Woman in the Man Of Steel sequel.

Variety is reporting that Fast 6 actress Gal Gadot will be portraying the Amazon Princess in the upcoming movie. There aren’t a ton of details at the moment, but I will continue to update the story as more info trickles in.

Production on Batman Vs. Superman is scheduled to kick off sometime in February. Given that we don’t know the extent of Wonder Woman’s role in the film, it is hard telling whether or not Gadot will start then as well. Keep it hear at Comic Book Therapy as the story evolves.

UPDATE: Zack Snyder has offered a quote on the casting of Gadot: “Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”

UPDATE 2: According to Variety not only is Wonder Woman making an appearance in the film, which they admit they’re not sure if it’s a cameo or not, but so will The Flash.

UPDATE 3: Gadot took to Twitter to share her excitement.
