THE WALKING DEAD Adds Seth Gilliam As Regular
After a rather huge cliff hanger, we’re left asking many questions about what to expect during the upcoming fifth season of the hugely popular AMC series The Walking Dead. Not long ago, star and fan-favorite Norman Reedus said the next season will be insane. Hopefully it it pick up the pace after a rather uneventful, yet necessary back half of season four. The series is gearing up for filming in the coming weeks and there is a new cast member joining the family.
Seth Gilliam, who starred on The Wire with his new co-star Chad L. Coleman, has joined the cast of the series. His role is being listed as Michael Todd, but this is not the character he will be playing. That information is being kept under wraps for the time being. Michael is being described as “having two sides, displaying a friendly, puckish humor but also having a haunted side stemming from a dark secret.” Fans of the comics may be able to pick out which character Gilliam will be playing- Father Gabriel has been mentioned.
The Walking Dead will return to television this fall, likely some time in October. The gang has been reassembled after the events involving the now-deceased Governor. However, they are not the most opportune location and situation. Rich Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, made some very threatening promises in the closing moments of the season four finale, so the fit is going to be hitting the shan very soon.
