Vincent D’Onofrio Signs On To Play JURASSIC WORLD Villain
Finally, after years of trying to get the ball rolling, a fourth Jurassic Park film is in the works. Over the past month or so we’ve seen the cast come together, with the first name being Bryce Dallas Howard. Joining here will be Chris Pratt, who will be starring in the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy for Marvel later this summer. For fans of the Malcom character, Jeff Goldblum has yet to be contacted, so don’t hold your breath for his return. Also joining the cast is Jake Johnson, star of the hit comedy New Girl, and Iron Man 3’s Ty Simpkins.
Today, more casting news for Jurassic World has come down the pipeline as Vincent D’Onofrio has been cast to play the film’s villain, according to Deadline. Not much else is known about the role at this time. It was also revealed that Irrfan Khan, who had a supporting role in The Amazing Spider-Man, will also take part in the film.
We don’t have much information in regards to a plot just yet, but there have been a plethora of rumors floating around on the web. The film won’t be a reboot, with director Colin Trevarrow, stating that the film will take place 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park. He also stated that we shouldn’t believe any of the rumors that surface, as they aren’t true. But what director doesn’t say that. Jurassic World is slated for a June 2015 opening, with filming scheduled to begin in the coming months.
