Villain-Centric Banner For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Released In High Quality
We’ve seen this three part in-theater banner in varying quality the last several days, but the official Amazing Spider-Man social media accounts finally broke down and posted the thing in high quality. After receiving a lot of flack for posting a picture of it inside a theater, they uploaded the official thing today. The clearer and much larger image gives us a few hints at what’s in store in the Marc Webb directed sequel.
We’ve already seen a pretty close shot of the Green Goblin and which Osborn is taking on the mantle of Spider-Man’s most famous villain (click here for that), but we can also get a better look at the images on the billboards in Time Square. The image above Elector’s shoulder is the Goblin’s face. It looks like he’s in pain with veins bulging on his head. This could be a picture of the character after taking the serum that helps with the transformation into the villain. And once again it’s confirmed that Rhino will be a giant tank that walks on four legs. It looks like they reconditioned the Rhino robot Ace Ventura used in his movie. Hopefully we’ll get a shot or two of it in action so we can see how it rally handles. What do you think about the Rhinobot? Are you glad we finally get this image in a decent quality?
