UPDATED! [Spoiler Alert] Avengers Aliens Revealed Thanks To Board Game?

Fresh from the event, Idle Hands got their hands on a few pictures of some figures used to in some kind of RPG that seem to make quite clear the identity of the alien race.

You sure?

Call them whatever you like but these look like the Skrulls to me. The images were taken at NYCC Toy Fair and the items are part of an Avengers strategy game of some sort.

My bet is this is some licensing dispute with Fox, the studio that currently owns the rights to the Fantastic Four. After all, they bought the rights to a ton of characters in the late 90′s, among which was probably Super-Skrull and his minions. So, to avoid a dispute with Fox, Marvel has decided to change the name of their baddies… but they can change the name to whatever they want, we all know that they’re still Skrulls.

Or are they?

Who do you think they are?
