UPDATE #2: Bryan Singer Confirms Colossus And Two New Additions For Days Of Future Past

Update: So Cudmore is confirmed to come back as Colossus and the two new additions to the cast were quickly figured out. Thanks to my fellow writer Ecks, the on the bottom between The Dink and Halle Berry is Booboo Stewart (Twilight sereies). The lady under Nicholas Hoult is Bingbing Fan, who will also appear in the upcoming Iron Man film in a minor role. No word on who they are playing, but fans are already speculating on several possibilities.

Update to the Update: Still no word on Booboo, but Deadline is reporting that BingBing Fan will play Blink. So we might not get Nightcrawler, but we get a teleporting mutant. Here’s a link to Blink’s Wikipedia page. I won’t bore you by running down all the highlights of who she is, just check it out if you need a refresher.

Short answer to the headline: Yes, he did. With Bryan Singer Tweeting casting announcements at the drop of a hat, it’s no wonder his feed is watched closely. The director just let loose a Tweet that basically confirms that Colossus, as well as two other unannounced additions are in the First Class sequel. You can check out how Singer teased his impressive cast below. Take a close look at that picture of the cast wall. You have Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Sir Stewart and Sir McKellen, Peter “The Dink” Dinklage, and Halle Berry among others. But who are those last three spaced out on the bottom row? The one under Mr. Stewart is a mustachioed Daniel Cudmore aka Colossus. The actor told me several months ago that he would love to return, he was just waiting for the call. It looks like he may have recently gotten that call. This Tweet was just posted, so we’ll update if anything else is said about it. What do you think? Do you want Colossus back?
