Twitter Tease: J.J. Abrams And R2-D2 Are Hanging Out In The STAR WARS VII Workshop
J.J. Abrams has allowed fans a little bitty peek inside the mystery box. Bad Robot Tweeted an image inside the workshop where work is going on for the majorly anticipated new Star Wars film. It doesn’t reveal much, but Abrams and company are spending some time with R2-D2, everyone’s favorite droid. R2 is looking pretty good for his age, especially compared to some of his co-stars. While it doesn’t necessarily prove he’s in the new film, it does seem like a pretty good bet he’ll appear in some form or fashion. He’s one of only four characters to appear in all six Star Wars films, so it would be unimaginable to not have him and his golden counterpart along for the new one. As odd as it sounds, this could be our first confirmed piece of casting for the film. What do you think of Bad Robot‘s little teaser? Do you hope they dropped a few more Tweets along the way to the December 18th, 2015 release?
