Tucson Hobby Shop Collects Comics For Children Hospital’s Library
Heroes and Villains tries to live up to the first part of their name this January as they collect donations of new comic books and graphic novels for the Diamond Children’s Medical Center’s library.
store owner, Mike Camp: “Heroes and Villains believes in comics’ power to inspire, to make kids (of all ages) feel like maybe there’s a Superman coiled just beneath those horned rim glasses, or a Wonder Woman waiting beneath that tangle of braces and barrettes.
It’s our hope that these comic books (generously donated by our superheroic customers) give kids an extra boost of encouragement during a difficult time in their young lives”
