UPDATE: A brand new character poster for Nicola Peltz’s Tessa character. You can see that in the gallery below the video.

Yesterday, we had a couple of new character posters surface for the upcoming fourth film in Michael Bay’s Transformers franchise. Along with that came news that a brand new trailer would drop today. Initially, we thought that would hit this morning, but we later learned that the (explosive) trailer would drop later this evening. You can check out those new teasers in the gallery below. Until we get that new trailer, which will likely be a full-length feature trailer with a whole lot of stuff blowing up and massive damage being shown, we’ll have to make do with the recently revealed title sequence.

You can see from the video below that they have taken a much more streamlined approach to the title card, as compared to those from previous films, which utilized a much more clunky and robotic font, matching the AutobotDecepticon logos we’re all so familiar with. This works quite well with the newer, more modern take on the robots that we’ve seen in the teaser and past leaked photos and such.

We’re not quite sure what the main plot of the film is at this point, but it has been rumored that Unicron and Galvatron will play a role int he film. The inclusion of the Dinobots helps fuel that flame, but we’ll have to wait and see how that all unfolds as we move closer to the release. Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer and TJ Miller all star in Transformers: Age of Extinction. Be sure to check back later tonight for the brand new trailer!
