TMNT Reboot Finds The Rest Of Its Turtles
Last week it was reported that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot had found its Raphael in the form of Alan Ritchson (Hunger Games and Smallville‘s Aquaman). Today we learn that the film has found its Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo. According to Deadline, three actors have closed their deals to join the film.
Joining Ritchson and new April O’Neil Megan Fox will be Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, and Noel Fisher as Michelangelo. Ploszeck has appeared in shows like Parks and Recreation and Shameless. Howard has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows like Galaxy Quest and The Drew Carey Show. And last but not least, Fisher had a big role in the recent Hatfields & McCoys show as well as Battle Los Angeles, also directed by the TMNT reboot director Jonathan Liebesman. With the movie planning to do something similar to Avatar‘s motion capture, the actors will be more front and center than the suit wearing Turtles of the first live action films. Word on who will be playing Shredder should be coming soon according to the site. The film is slated for a June 6, 2014 release and is supposed to be the first film in the franchise. So we have our major players in place for the reboot. What do you think of the choices?
