Three New Clips From THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG Hit
Three new clips from Peter Jackson‘s Hobbit sequel have found their way online. With The Desolation of Smaug set to begin in just over one week’s time, we’re getting our first look at a few scenes outside of the quick snippets that are thrown into the trailers. The first clip, from IGN, shows the Elves questioning an Orc who brings them quite an ominous message. The second one comes from JoBlo and shows Bilbo and Gandalf having a chat about the change that has come over Bilbo since their journey began. He revels he found…his courage. The final clip was released by Warner Bros. Thailand and it’s the longest of the batch. It shows Bard the Bowman and Thorin discussing whether or not the dwarf has the right to travel to the Misty Mountain and take on the big bad dragon. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will swoop into theaters December 13th.
The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
