Thomas Jane Deals Out Punishment In Dirty Laundry: An Independent Punisher Film

During the Thor and Captain America panel at Comic Con, Marvel Studios confirmed that they had gained back the rights to The Punisher. Later, they also confirmed that they had both Punisher and Blade back and were interested in bringing them back to the silver screen. Don’t get too excited just yet, there has been no new developments and Marvel had no official plans for either franchise.

While there isn’t anything official, The Punisher has returned in a new live-action (unofficial) short starring Thomas Jane. On Saturday, Thomas Jane had a panel about his upcoming comic with Tim Bradstreet. He surprised everyone by announcing the short film with Ron Perlman. It’s called Dirty Laundry, and you can check it out below!

I'm a comic book and movie nerd who loves to share news I find interesting and hope you do as well. I'm a big Doctor Who fan and sci-fi in general. My favorite comic characters you ask? Well Thor, Wolverine, and Daredevil.

To be honest, none, i don’t know if it’s me, but i don’t like moives that aren’t originalExamplesSure Transformers are fucking awesome but a transformers movie isn’t a good’ movie, it’s neat but it’s not a good’ movie, it can’t be because it’s already an idea that existed before cinema.I don’t know, it’s really rare that i enjoy a Marvel movie for being a good cinematic movie.Don’t get me wrong, it’s not impossible, i thought Watchman was a really good movie, but most moives that are remakes of comic books or games just become mainstream like transformers and aren’t good moives. If Quentin makes a movie i want it to be a Quentin tarantino movie, ofcourse Jackie Brown wasn’t an original idea, but all he did was take that character.I know we’re only speaking hypotheticly but i just wanted to get that out i really hate it when moives like transformers, or batman (i know i keep using this movie as an example) make alot of money but original moives like Deathproof and Planet Terror don’t.If we look at the past couple years, we got some amazing moives that came out,There Will Be BloodNo Country For Old MenInglourious Basterds (ofcourse)but sadly these aren’t the moives that make money. And us being Quentin fans know that this is actually a big deal, specially when people like the Weinstein brothers don’t want to produce moives that aren’t going to make that much money.Sadly cinema is dyeing and it hurts me all the time, hopefully it changes in the next 5 years, i think alot of young aspiring film makers (like myself) will bring something fresh, or atleast remind us of what good moives are like.I TOTALLY WENT OFF TOPIC!!! lol
