Things Get Serious In A New GODZILLA TV Spot
A new TV spot for Godzilla has found its way online, and it features a little more exposition than monsters walking about and destorying things. There is a shot of Godzilla and plenty of destruction, but the spot is focused mainly on the drama and characters. It sounds like Elle Brody (Elizabeth Olsen) is calling Lieutenant Ford Brody (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and asking if he’s going to be alright. Brody is one of the soldiers that are sent in to deal with the monstrous threat and it seems everyone aren’t too sure about their chances at survival.
Godzilla is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, and David Strathairn. The big beastie will stomp into theaters May 16th. What do you think about the new spot?
An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
