Well, we saw what happened in the last episode: lots of action, walkers, drama and…….amputations?  Yes…  I am going to avoid major spoilers for this episode because, seriously you need to see it with your own eyes.

If you thought that the season premiere was awesome, wait until you see this episode

Episode 302 – “SICK”

Written by: Nichole Beattie
Directed by: Billy Gierhart

After a traumatic event, a life hangs in the balance. Complicating matters, the group must also deal with a potential threat to their new surroundings.

This episode picks up right after the last one, and it concentrates on mainly 2 things, trying to save Hershel, and the prisoners that were introduced last week.  We see lots of action, we get to see gore and yes, T-Dog does more  this time around.  We get to see some drama in this episode, but there is more action and suspense than anything else.

There are some shocking moments as well, and you will love them, I guarantee it .

It is also interesting to see how much Rick has changed, you can honestly see a little bit of Shane in him. Carl is taking a bigger role since he is becoming more helpful and his character is maturing a little more.  Thats it, there is nothing much I can say, other than if you were waiting to see Michonne and the Governor, well you will be disappointed, they do not appear in this episode.

This episode focuses solely on the prison, and trust me , it is a great episode. But again do not worry, we will see more of Michonne and the Governor pretty soon, since Glen Mazzera has stated that there are even some episodes that are going to focus either  on the Woodbury set or the prison. Sometimes you won’t even see Rick at all! There is plenty of walker kills, I can assure you. The prisoners play a big role in this episode. Check what Glen Mazzara has to say about the prisoners:

Tomas (played by Nick Gomez, far right)

“Tomas is the leader. Tomas is the alpha male. He’s the one who is in charge and he is the one who has set the rules and he did before the apocalypse, he’s been doing that since, and suddenly, here’s Rick telling him, ‘This isn’t even your prison any more.’ Tomas is not going to stand for that.”

Andrew (played by Markice Moore, second from right)

“Andrew is really Tomas’ right hand man. These guys are really the ones who have been intimidating Axel and Oscar.”

Axel (played by Lew Temple, center)

“Axel is a great character. He’s someone who was probably a two-bit criminal who finds himself in a bigger mess. He’s probably happy to be freed by Rick because he realizes he’s not as cutthroat as Tomas and Andrew.”

Oscar (played by Vincent Ward, second from left)

“Oscar is another guy who has had to go along with Tomas’ rule.”

Big Tiny (played by Theodus Crane, left)

“Big Tiny is the muscle of the group. The idea was that all of these guys together are a formidable force. These are hardened convicts who have survived living together for almost a year, almost in the same way that Rick and his group have. So this is a surprising force for Rick to come up against. And they are formidable. And they are scary. And they are dangerous. Just as dangerous as Rick’s group.”

The episodes keep getting better and better and there is no sign of stopping. Please share your comments with us once you see the episode and tell us what you think.

P.S. You know what people are saying that someone dies in this episode? Well I won’t say who it is, but someone does die indeed. You have to tune in to see who it is.
