The Walking Dead Adds A New Fan Favorite Character

The Walking Dead has been hitting a lot of the big comic book moments that fans have been eating up this season. This week’s episode finally saw Michonne make her way to the prison where she will meet up with Rick’s crew. News hitting today will continue the fan pleasing wave this year. TV Line is reporting that Chad Coleman has signed on to play Tyreese.

Tyreeese, one of the prominent members of the survivors in the early years of the comics, was Rick’s second in command after Shane died early in the comics run. The character is rumored to be joining up with the show during episode 8 as Rick is getting ready to face off with The Governor. Coleman is best known for HBO’s Wire, but he has recently appeared on Burn Notice and The Good Wife. Are you excited about the new addition?
