Director Gareth Evans (The Raid, S-VHS) began the brutal shooting schedule for The Raid 2 (subtitled Berandal in some foreign markets) this week. PT Merantau Films & XYZ Films confirmed shooting would take place in Jakarta and Indonesia and would take at least 100+ days to shoot!
That’s actually a pretty long shooting schedule for any film, especially for one like this.
Picking up right where the first film ends, ‘The Raid 2′ follows Rama (Uwais) as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force.

Lastly, If you haven’t seen The Raid, rectify that immediately!
