The Guardian Project’s Latest Reveal: The Flame
If you don’t know by now, the National Hockey League has teamed up with the legendary Stan “The Man” Lee to create The Guardian Project. And if the name Stan Lee doesn’t ring a bell, please leave this site now. I’m kidding. Please don’t go. To learn more about The Guardian Project, my colleague Wolverinept (Pedro Marques) gives you more details in a recently published article.
The most recent Guardian to be revealed hails from my city – Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Calgary Flames of the NHL now has the superhero The Flame on its side. He looks pretty good and his powers are cool except for one, his ability to create a flaming stampede of horses to smite his enemies. I know Calgary is the Stampede city, but it’s still a fairly lame ability. But I am looking forward to watching all 30 Guardians go into battle during the NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, January 30 and possibly checking out the proposed graphic novel down the road. Until then, have fun and keep reading!
