The Follow-Up To The Punisher Short Dirty Laundry Has Been Released

by

truth in journalismWriter/director Joe Lynch and Thomas Jane took Comic-Con by surprise last year when they debuted their short film Dirty Laundry. The short was a slow burn that ultimately revealed it was a Punisher story featuring Jane reprising the role of Frank Castle. Lynch premiered another fantastic Marvel related short at this year’s Comic-Con, and it has finally been posted online.

The follow-up to the amazing Dirty Laundry is called Truth in Journalism. The short stars Ryan Kwanten as a New York City journalist who is being followed by a French documentary film crew. You can probably guess the truth behind Kwanten‘s character since his name is Eddie and he has some interesting protrusions in the poster. There is one more huge reveal toward the end of the film. I won’t spoil that though. Watch the full short film below. Dirty Laundry is below the new film just because it’s worth sharing any chance you get. What do you think? Does this top Dirty Laundry?

“The great part of my job is that I get to be an ‘administrator of truth.’ Crime occurs every 13 seconds in this city. You know we have these statistics? Because guys like me are out on the streets, collecting these stories. We put the caution in cautionary tale, y’know? And being aware the crime out there, the people of this city can live their lives accordingly. In fact, I’m the one doing this city a public service. We’re the heroes out there….”
