The Final Theatrical Trailer For The Lone Ranger Rides Off Into The Sunset
The Lone Ranger is one movie we haven’t covered that much. The first trailer left many cold to the movie starring Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp, but over time (much like the train most of the film’s action takes place on) the movie started to pick up speed. There’s been a few TV spots and two theatrical trailers, but the third full-length trailer gives us one of our best looks at the action and the story from director Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean/Rango). The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and will hit theaters May 31st. What do you think about the trailer? Are you going to ride with the Ranger?
The Lone Ranger, directed by Gore Verbinski and featuring Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as John Reid, the Lone Ranger, is a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid, a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
