A brand new trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug has dropped. The second full-length trailer doesn’t give us a good glimpse of the dragon Smaug, but we do get to her a few lines from Benedict Cumberbatch. You can watch the action-packed trailer below. Besides the new look at the film, The Hobbit‘s official Twitter account released 4 banners featuring Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen), Tauriel and Legolas (Evangeline Lily and Orlando Bloom), Bard the Bowman (Luke Evans), and Thranduil (Lee Pace).
The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
