The Dark Knight Rises Running Time Now Official: Find A Comfy Chair

The Dark Knight Rises running time has been confirmed. The British Board of Film Classification has given us the precise running time down to the second- 164 minutes and 27 seconds. That’s an impressive 2 hours 44 minutes and 27 seconds. In comparison, Begins was 140 minutes and The Dark Knight was 152 minutes.

If you’re going to check out the marathon IMAX theaters are running of all three films back-to-back-to-back, you’re in for a long ride. While not quite as long as Marvel’s 15 hour marathon, each film has a lengthy running time.

It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

I’ve sat through longer movies. I think that’s the same length as Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and it may have been one of the best paced movies I’ve seen in years.

A long movie doesn’t necessarily mean that it will fee like a long time while you watch it.

I heard that it will have 1 hr of continuos action and the other 2 hours will be …….?
