The Avengers: New Featurette Shows Backstage Footage

The Avengers won a new featurette that, although not bringing much footage, it does feature testimonials from Joss Whedon and the cast of the film, besides showing unseen backstage footage.

The Avengers (titled Avengers Assemble in the United Kingdom) is an upcoming American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It is the sixth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is written and directed by Joss Whedon and features an ensemble cast, which includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, and Samuel L. Jackson.

It will hit U.K. theaters on April 26th and U.S. theaters on May 4th, 2012.
