The Avengers Assembled In New Merchandising Art

A new merchandising image for The Avengers is circulating on the Internet. So in the image we’ve got the characters played by Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Rober Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and Mark Ruffalo.
Marvel and Harley Davidson have teamed up to promote a feature before, as anyone buying Marvel comic books last summer will have seen the Captain America: The First Avenger ads featuring Cap on his Harley and the copy “Two undeniable forces out to liberate the world,” fairly well reeking of imperial hubris.
As a bonus, here is an image of the heroes in action together with the Stark Tower and the jet team in the background.

The film is directed by Joss Whedon (“Firefly”), who also wrote the movie. The cast of “The Avengers” features Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark aka Iron Man, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Chris Evans as the charismatic Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson. Also noteworthy is the presence of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.
“The Avengers” debuts May 4, 2012, in theaters in the U.S..
