THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Gets Resurrected As Marvel’s Latest Relaunch
A page from the March-April issue of All-New Marvel NOW! Previews has hit the web, and it’s causing quite a stir. The image announces the relaunch of The Amazing Spider-Man with a fresh #1 on the cover from the longtime Spidey creative team of Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos.
Now this doesn’t necessarily mean the real, honest to goodness Peter Parker is back in control of his body, but it seems likely. The costume is the old one he wore before all the Dock Ock brain switching with a Superior Spider-Man costume featuring claws and split toes. To add a little more credence to the speculation, Spider-Man does have a new movie coming out in May. Marvel could definitely want to make sure Peter is back in control of his full facilities as fans start to flock to the comics because of the new flick. Then again it could be something like a series set prior to the Superior Spider-Man series, telling the lost adventures of Peter Parker. We just don’t know right now. I’m sure there’s going to be a lot more to this story if indeed Parker is back in the driver’s seat of his body. Stay tuned to CBT for the latest. What do you think about the possibility of Peter Parker coming back though?
