dc logo bannerYesterday saw a slew of comic book related TV shows officially picked up by the big networks. On the Marvel side it was officially confirmed that ABC had renewed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and picked up Agent Carter, while on the DC side of things Gotham, Flash, iZombie, and Constantine were all ordered to series by Fox, The CW, and NBC respectively. While we’ll be hearing a whole lot more about all those shows in the coming months, teaser posters and images for three of DC‘s shows have hit.

Twitter has been buzzing since the series orders yesterday, so it makes sense that the folks involved with those various shows are wanting to tease what they’ve been working on. A teaser image/poster for Gotham featuring Jim Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne, Edward Nigma, Poison Ivy, Fish Mooney, Penguin, and Catwoman standing around and looking all moody has been released. The image just goes to show off the atmosphere of the much-discussed series.

Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. He is one of the crime world’s greatest foes, a man whose reputation is synonymous with law and order. But what is known of Gordon’s story and his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner? What did it take to navigate the multiple layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world’s most iconic villains? And what circumstances created them – the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker?

A fresh Flash image has been released as well. This one is more of a standard poster than Gotham‘s pic. We get to see Grant Gustin in his costume, which appears to be a lighter red than the almost burgundy looking suit in the original set pictures. The poster also gives us our first possible hint about how Flash‘s speed will look on the small screen. He’s going to be fast, but we’ll just have to wait and see how fast he’ll look compared to the way Clark Kent showed off his speed on Smallville.

Based upon characters published by DC Comics. Through a freak accident, scientist Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is given the power of super speed, which transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive.

And finally, a poster for iZombie has been posted as well. This is the DC series we don’t know too much about, and the team has said it will deviate wildly from the comics, so we’ll just have to stay tuned to see how it turns out. You can check out the image below to get your first hint though.

A med student-turned-zombie takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity. But with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head. Based on the characters created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred, and published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint.
