Over the last decade I’ve been very fortunate to watch two of my creations, Cable and Deadpool, explode in popularity, nearly matching the original excitement that surrounded them in their debut in the early 90′s. Very Exciting news leaked today in the form of two advance screen shots of the upcoming Deadpool video game! The second and possibly more exciting news was the official confirmation that Cable is featured in the game. I mean, was there any doubt? No firm release date has been set, as soon as I’m aware, I’ll let you know!

The leaked pic of Cable also revealed that Death will be making an appearance in the Deadpool game. Cable and Death doesn’t come as a big surprise, but the final character may be a shocker to some. Domino, another Liefeld creation, will appear. From the bad boy of comics himself:

Comic Book Therapy, Ed McGuinness’ Cover to AVENGERS: X-SANCTION #1 Unveiled By Marvel!

This December, Cable will reappear with his sights on The Avengers in what Marvel are calling “Avengers: X-Sanction“. Loeb explained that we will see just how Cable survived after sacrificing himself at the end of Second Coming.

Loeb explains:

“What would you do if you found out that something was going to happen to your (adopted) daughter (Hope Summers)?”

So, what exactly is the significance of Hope Summers in the marvel Universe? Sounds like some very psychological times are approaching Cable.

“There are real comparisons with Tony Stark and Iron Man,”

Loeb says

“Iron Man sees himself as a futurist, and what is that like when he goes against someone who is actually from the future?”

Do you think that there is some big significance to this? What can possibly be the role of The Avengers in all this? It seems that Loeb and Mcguinness might just give us the introduction into Marvel’s next big arc story, make sure you stay tuned.
