There was a bit of a delay with the book, but Brian Wood and Olivier Coipel‘s X-Men #1 will be released at the end of this month. The new X-series will feature an all female team led by Storm with members like Rogue, Jubilee, Kitty Pryde, and a few other femme fatales teaming up to face an impending alien invasion. An old foe shows up at the X-Men‘s door to seek asylum. Jubilee finds an orphaned baby who may hold the key to Earth’s survival. There’s a lot going on, but is it all connected? The new series from writer Brian Wood and artist Olivier Coipel kicks off May 29th. What do you think of our first look at the book?

Age of Ultron has been years in the making, and this summer the highly anticipated book from Brian Bendis and Bryan Hitch will finally take the Marvel Universe by storm. Marvel unveiled a new preview of the book with a gold foil cover and two pages of massive destruction. DC put out die cut covers with Death of the Family and now they are gearing up for gatefold covers for what they’re calling “Holy $h!*” month.
