Last week, star of the moment Joseph Gordon-Levitt joined the cast as Johnny, along with Chris Meloni. Josh Brolin, who is another hot commodity in Hollywood, signed on to replace Clive Owen in the role of Dwight.

Three more actors are set to join the already star studded cast in Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven and Juno Temple. According to the Playlist, details on the characters are being kept under wraps. This trio will be joining Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jamie King, Dennis Haysbert and the previously mentioned Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin and Chris Meloni.

Ray Liotta is enjoying a bit of a resurgence in recent months, having starred alongside Brad Pitt in Killing The Softly and several new films landing in theaters this year. Temple was most recently seen in The Dark Knight Rises as Selina Kyle’s accomplice and will also be featured in numerous films this year.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will arrive in theaters October 4th, 2013

Hello and welcome to Day 8 of 31 in 31!

Day 8 is brought to you by the movie “The Possession” and while this movie just came out I was indeed happy with the non-atypical way it was made. First off it isn’t the usual demon possession kind of situation, and then it doesn’t randomly take over it make the little girl that it possesses all sorts of messed up.

Keeping with why I enjoyed this movie I found the story to be fun, the jump moments to be timed perfectly and even throw me off a bit, and seeing Jewish musician Matisyahu in the middle of the battle with the demon child was a pretty good spin on the story. Not everyone will agree with me, but that’s what this is about! Having a wide variety of things to read and watch!

As always stay tuned for tomorrow, and tell us what you think of our 31 in 31 this year so far!

The movie that has been chosen for Day 1 of 31 in 31 is Frozen written and directed by Adam Green, and starring Shawn Ashmore. Frozen doesn’t exactly fit the normal horror genre type, but nonetheless it is one of the most suspenseful and frightening movies that you can sit down to watch. Stranded on a chairlift and forced to make choices that could mean life or death Frozen puts into perspective that, even though a fluke circumstance, it could actually happen. I highly suggest this movie for any thriller lover, full of suspense and your worst fears, this is a definite watch.

Welcome to the beginning of 31 in 31! I and a small group of my friends are fans of Halloween, so muh so that we’ve taken on the task of finding what we consider to be the best 31 films that fit perfectly within this time of the year. Whether it’s horror, sci-fi, suspense, thriller, or maybe something you don’t quite expect. Either way we hope to lead you folks to explore movies that maybe you wouldn’t have otherwise seen, and maybe discover a new favorite for you and your friends to sit around and watch during this time of the year. We will be starting on the 1st of October and going all the way up until Halloween Day, the 31st of October. I hope you guys tune in and read what we have to say!
