Superman And Wonder Woman Take Their Relationship To The Next Level: A New Ongoing Comic
Entertainment shows and gossip sites talk a lot about ‘Power Couples‘ like movie stars and musicians who get spotted on dates with other famous people, but DC recently created an honest to goodness power couple when they had Superman and Wonder Woman hook up in the pages of Justice League last year. Clark and Diana have been dating for a while, but they are about to take their relationship to the next level thanks to writer Charles Soule (Swamp Thing) and artist Tony Daniel (Action Comics/Detective Comics).
The creative duo will start a new ongoing series aptly titled Superman/Wonder Woman. The book will explore the couples relationship and how the rest of the DCU sees it. IGN had the announcement of the new series and the piece of promo art you see below. Other than that details are scarce at this time. This is basically the equivalent of Superman and Wonder Woman moving in together. There’s a Batman/Superman series getting ready to kick off as well. I hope one of those issues is about Superman telling Batman he’s going to move on and partner up with Wonder Woman. I’m sure it’s not going to be all lovey-dovey, but it looks like things are going to be pretty serious between Supes and WW for a little while longer at least. What do you think about the Superman/Wonder Woman series announcement?
