“Strange” Rumors Regarding The Dark Knight Rises
There has been lots of rumors regarding who the villain(s) will be in the third and final installment of Chris Nolan’s Batman Trilogy.
Now we are hearing that Hugo Strange will be the villain of the movie.
“Hugo Strange is an insane psychologist who knows Bruce Wayne‘s secret identity and lusts to take the identity for himself. He is also a chemical genius who can turn people into Monster Men. First appearance in Detective Comics #36“. (1940) DC WIKI
British actor Tom Hardy (Bronson, Inception) is rumored to be portraying the villain, although it was said at one point, that he was going to play Officer Bulloch.
Nolan is great at directing psychological films and having Hugo Strange as the crazy doctor would be a good choice, although I am not a big fan of the character myself.
Another interesting rumor is that Brady will portray another baddie: The Killer Croc. Wait.. What? I thought Nolan was trying to make the franchise a little more realistic.
Well, have you ever heard of Scaly Skin (Ichthyosis Vulgaris)?
“Ichthyosis vulgaris, sometimes known as fish scale disease or common ichthyosis, is a skin disorder in which the skin accumulates much faster than usual, causing thick, dry scales. The scaly skin tends to build up on places where the skin doesn’t rub against itself, so it is usually worse on the legs, arms, and back and less severe on the creases of the groin and armpits. Though the scaly skin itself is usually not life threatening, it is a difficult disorder to live with because it requires daily upkeep (bathing and applying lotions) to keep the scales under control. There are many kinds of ichthyosis, but ichthyosis vulgaris is the most common. Most types are passed down in families (hereditary) and appear first in childhood, though, very rarely, can be acquired later in life through certain exposures.”
If you read the graphic novel “Joker” by Brian Azzarello, you will see a more human Killer Croc, which can definitely be used in the next Batman film.
Again, nothing is confirmed but one thing we know for sure is that Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, The Penguin and Robin won’t appear in this movie.
A lot of us wanted to see Johnny Depp as The Riddler, and that would have been an amazing choice, but we can trust Nolan in doing the right thing, come on the man knows what he is doing.
