Stan Lee Will Return To Springfield For The Upcoming Season Of The Simpsons
Stan “The Man” Lee will be returning to Springfield for the upcoming season where he will lend his voice to the show for the second time. EW learned that the comic book icon will play himself in an episode that sees Homer ruining the new relationship between Comic Book Guy and a pretty young Japanese woman/manga fan. Lee will be there to give Comic Book Guy some advice on romance, comics, and even romance comics. The 90-year old legend appeared on an episode about 12 years ago where he terrorized Comic Book Guy‘s shop and even hulked out. Simpsons executive producer Al Jean said “Stan was a joy to work with once again, and we look forward to having him back on the show in another twelve years.“
Other celebrities said to appear this season are Aaron Sorkin, Gordon Ramsay, Joe Namath, and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. Yes, MacFarlane will be appearing on the show he’s made fun of for years. I don’t know how they worked that one out. What do you think about Stan Lee returning? Will you be tuning in?
