Spider-Man Gets Fired And Walt Simonson Joins Mark Waid On Hulk

Here’s two quick, but exciting, comic book stories for you today. First off we have another status quo shake-up for everyone’s favorite webslinger favorite villain that’s now in a hero’s body. Dan Slott is rejoined by artist Humberto Ramos on Spider-Man as we see the wallcrawler fired from what we can only assume is The Avengers. Although with the new direction the Spider-Man book is going, we could see Spider-Ock getting fired from anything form The Avengers to Horizon Labs. It’s an interesting teaser we’ll have to wait and see exactly what it means.
In another artist shake-up, the legendary Walt Simonson will be joining Mark Waid on Indestructible Hulk this April. The artist best known for his work on Thor will be taking over art duties from Leinil Yu. It looks like Simonson will be flexing his Thor muscles as the teaser image features Hulk trying to lift the mighty Mjolnir. With these two teasers along with yesterday’s Thunderbolts image featuring new artist Phil Noto, there could well be a whole lot more to come. Stay tuned to CBT.
