SPIDER-MAN Has His Eye On ELECTRO In Two New AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Posters

by

spider-man bannerTwo new international posters for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have found their way onto the web, and they show our titular hero squaring off against the villainous Electro (Jamie Foxx). The stunning new posters really plays up the scale of Electro‘s powers and teases what will probably be the final showdown between the two super powered men in Times Square.

The poster showing Electro reflected in Spider-Man‘s eyepiece comes from Digital Spy. Not only do we see the electrifying villain charging Spidey (pun intended), but we also get another glimpse of Dane DeHaan‘s distorted mug on the jumbo tron. Not that we needed it, but that’s further confirmation he’s the Osborn that takes flight as Spider-Man‘s most notorious rogue. The second poster has an unknown origin, but Twitter user @Movie_Maniac_ seems to have been the first to bring it to people’s attention. It shows Spidey swinging high above Times Square as an epic battle ensues. What do you think about the two new posters? Does one tickle your fancy more than the other? The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters May 2, 2014.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
