Snazzy New Character Art Posters And Pics For CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
Captain America: The Winter Soldier has been dominating the news cycle recently, so we’ll close the weekend out with even more goodies from the highly-anticipated film directed by the Russo brothers. We have a whole slew of new character posters and a few special character pics that have emerged this weekend.
Some very stylish new art posters showing off the cast of the film have been spotted on the streets of Los Angeles and posted by Coming Soon. The posters are red and black renditions of the previously released character posters for Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), and Sam “Falcon” Wilson (Anthony Mackie). If there is any doubt about them being legit, the very first image you see below was Tweeted by Sam Jackson in what we can probably safely assume is an L.A. movie theater. Hopefully Marvel decides to release those in high-res because they are lovely and would look good on bedroom walls across the country.
Below the snazzy posters are some character images released by the Marvel UK Twitter account. Since The Winter Soldier is a conspiracy thriller, they been trying to find out who fans trust and don’t trust by posing the question with hashtags over new images and asking for retweets to see what the majority opinion is. That’s a rather striking pic of Anthony Mackie that gives us a fantastic look at his wing pack. What do you think about the new images?
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier.
