Sin City: A Dame to Kill For Pushed to 2014!
For the folks who have been waiting nearly eight years for a sequel to Robert Rodriguez’s visionary film Sin City, you will have to wait a bit longer. t was announced today that Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has been pushed back nearly a year to August 22, 2014. Rodriguez originally had two films slated just a few weeks apart, but now, Machete Kills will be his solo film this year. No reasons were given for the delay, but here’s to hoping the final product will result in a great film. The film was originally set for an October release.
A Dame to Kill For once again assembles an all star cast, lead by Josh Brolin, who takes on the role of Dwight, previously played by Clive Owen, who has undergone a physical transformation. Dwight is “hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord (Eva Green), and then watches his life go straight to hell.” Joining Brolin is Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Stacy Keach, and Julia Garner.
