Season 2 Of Telltale Games Walking Dead Will Hit This Fall

There was some initial concern from fans regarding when exactly the second season of Telltale Games award-winning Walking Dead episodic role-playing series would be returning to our consoles. Matters weren’t helped when some conflicting reports and quotes in a recent Eurogamer interview pointed to a fall 2014 release. Fans can rest easy as Telltale released a follow-up statement saying the release would be a lot sooner:
The current estimated release window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview. We apologize for any confusion and thank you and all of our fans for your continued excitement for Telltale’s series.
The first season hit in 2012 and quickly garnered commercial and critical acclaim. It went on to win multiple awards and was even recognized as the game of the year by places like USA Today, Wired, and Official Xbox Magazine. If you played the first season, you know the episodes featured an incredible story and a lot was left open for the second season. With the next string of episodes hitting this fall, we won’t have to wait too long to find out what happens to Clementine. Are you excited for the next season?
