SDCC ’13: Neil Gaiman And J.H. Williams III Talk At Length About The Sandman: Overture
Easily one of the most anticipated new comics of the year is Neil Gaiman‘s return to the world of Sandman. The prolific writer and superstar artist J.H. Williams III (Batwoman) will team up to tell the story of what led up to Morpheus being weak enough to be captured by a bunch of mortals. The series is something Gaiman has wanted to do for years, and the 25th Anniversary of The Sandman seemed like a good time to finally present the story. DC posted a video clip in their Con Away From Con series that features Gaiman and Williams talking at length about the story and how the prequel came about…other than Gaiman thinking it up that is. What do you think about the return to dreamland? Will you be checking out Gaiman‘s prequel later this year?
