SDCC ’12: Second Trailer For Marvel’s Avengers: Battle for Earth
Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth unsurprisingly received a Comic-Con trailer this year – as well as a surprise guest appearance from Robert Downey, Jr., the man who played Iron Man in recent Marvel films. The trailer doesn’t actually show off any gameplay footage, just a bunch of CGI renders of characters from the game, but for Marvel fans that may be more than enough.
Fans of the recent Avengers film, bear in mind that while this game is targeted as a tie in to the movie, it otherwise bears no concrete relationship (there was however an Avengers game in the works for a short while before it was canned). Instead, it follows the Secret Invasion plotline from the comic books. Still, many of the characters will be more than familiar.
‘Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth’ will be available for X-BOX 360-with its added Kinect motion capture, as well as for the new Nintendo Wii U.
The game ‘Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth “is based on the series Secret Invasion. Includes 20 Marvel characters, among which are Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Spider-man, Storm and Magneto.
