SDCC ’12: Captain America 2′s Title Revealed
By Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell on Jul 15, 2012 with Comments 4
To say that Marvel’s panel at Comic Con is exciting would be a massive understatement. You had the announcement about Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, and the title for Thor 2. Now Captain America’s sequel gets a title. The second film will be called Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It will hit theaters April 4, 2014. That means Guardians and Cap will be coming out in the same year. No word yet on Ant-Man’s release date.
With the title, it’s a very safe bet Bucky will be coming back in this one. We know that the sequel is set in the present, so it seems like it will be adapting the Winter Solider storyline for the most part. Other than the title, that’s all we got during the Panel. With all these amazing Comic Con announcements, I’m sure a few more little tidbits will squeak out.
