Scarlett Johansson Confirms THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON To Proceed With No Delays

by

BlackwidowAOUThere has been much made of a possible delay in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron due to some news that Scarlett Johansson received recently. According to multiple media outlets the actress is expecting her first child with her fiance. Once again, most people assumed that there would be some sort of delay or restructuring of the movie so that they could work around the pregnancy. There was even talk of them completely changing Natasha’s story in the movie.

Well rest easy people, because none of it’s true. There will be no delay in production or cutting of Widow’s part in the movie. This all according to Johansson herself who told The Huffington Post, “Everything for Avengers 2, we’re full steam ahead. We start shooting in three weeks and I’m stunt training and we’re good to go. You know, I think it’s something that is hard to talk about, exactly. You know, trying to skirt around your question exactly, and, you know, doing a poor job of it. But, you know, like I said, everything is exactly on schedule.” When pressed a little harder to make sure everything was fine she said, “Everything is going just fine. The Black Widow always wins and will continue to.”

I for one, never doubted that there would be any delay in production or cutting of her scenes. It is rumored, which I do believe this, that they are fast tracking her scenes. Another rumor floating around is that Black Widow has a significant role for Age Of Ultron, so I’m sure with what they have planned cutting her was never an option.
