S.H.I.E.L.D. Pilot Starts Filming And Launches A Social Media Blitz

The S.H.I.E.L.D. show (say that five times fast) started filming on the pilot episode today. Some behind-the-scenes images and pieces of news have started to come out as you would imagine. The Joss Whedon directed pilot hasn’t officially been picked up for series yet, but ABC top brass are pretty optimistic about the series. If all goes to plan the pilot will air sometime this fall.
The first frustratingly bland images come via EW. You can see director Whedon standing ominously silhouetted in front of…something. There’s also a pic of brother Jed’s chair as well as some more chairs. The only juicy photo is a S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle being delivered to the set. While the pictures aren’t that great, there are promises of more to come as the show launches official social media pages. You can find the show on Twitter @ABC_SHIELD and on Facebook at S.H.I.E.L.D. [click for direct links]. Marvel’s own Ryan “Agent M” Penagos is also tweeting about his set visit on his account @AgentM. Hopefully this is the calm before the storm. As filming continues, hopefully something official comes out. We’d even settle for something spies near the set find. Are you ready for S.H.I.E.L.D.?
