RUMOR: The Big Bad For The Justice League Movie Revealed?
By Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell on Dec 03, 2012 with Comments 2
In a late night attack, the folks over at Latino Review dropped a story about the possible villain for the Justice League movie. We know that the JL movie is set for the summer of 2015 and will go up against that other superhero team movie- The Avengers sequel. We know The Avengers will probably be battling Thanos, but who will the League fight?
Latino Review says, according to their snooping and a few sources, the villain for the Justice League movie may well be Darkseid. Yes, the big bad of the DC universe could be the threat that brings Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest together. The choice is a good one for the Justice League, but the decision may not sit well with average moviegoers. Although Darkseid beat him into the comics by three years and even inspired the character, Thanos was the first big bad to make it to the movie screens. With The Avengers and Thanos being the first out of the gate, Justice League has an uphill battle.
So stick this in your rumor files for now. With everything seemingly hanging on the success of The Man Of Steel, it won’t be too long before we start hearing some concrete information on DC’s upcoming flicks. What do you think about the Darkseid possibility? Would you want to see him face off with the League a la the new 52′s first JL story?
