RUMOR: JUSTICE LEAGUE Easter Eggs In BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT To Set Up A Future DC Game From Rocksteady

ArkhamknightbannerNot a lot of information has been made available about Batman: Arkham Knight. We know it takes place roughly a year after Arkham City, we get to drive the Batmobile and a few other odds and ends, but that’s about it. After Arkham City was released it was rumored that game developer Rocksteady was looking to develop a Justice League game. However, it never came to fruition as DC went on to develop Arkham Origins with WB Montreal and Rocksteady dove into Arkham Knight.

An interesting new rumor has popped up now though. The info comes from KDramaStars who seem to imply they picked this information up from another site, but haven’t sourced it. So I would keep a pretty hefty bag of salt for this one. Regardless I thought it was interesting enough to bring to your attention. Justice_League_0001According to their site, Batman will intercept some news transmission on his radio that will center around various members of the Justice League saving their respective cities.

While that is a pretty massive set of “cameos” if you will, the fun doesn’t stop there. Because they also mention that Superman may even pop up into the game somewhere. The Man Of Steel isn’t expect to be a playable character, but rather pop up to ask Batman if he needs help, to which he will decline.

The site also makes mention of a rumor, that I have not seen yet, that gives some validity to what they are saying, that Rocksteady is looking for a new superhero to tackle once they are done with Batman. So if that is the case, it would make sense to connect the universes. Especially if they go a head with a Justice League game that was once previously planned.

I urge you to keep in mind that this is all a rumor, and no where near being confirmed. Like stated above the site seems to be just passing the info a long, but didn’t offer up a link or a source. The site may have mixed some other information with things they’ve seen and heard. We’ll just have to wait until October to find out. However, the above stated is all pretty compelling stuff, and it will be interesting, if true, how it plays out.
