Robert Redford Set for Captain America: The Winter Soldier

We’re just a few weeks away from the opening of Iron Man 3, the first film in Marvel’s Phase 2 of their shared universe. The second film, Thor: The Dark World is set to open this November, with Guardians of the Galaxy in the works as well. The fourth film in this phase is the sequel to Captain America, which is centered on the resurgence of Bucky Barnes as the Winter Soldier.
So far, we know that Anthony and Joe Russo of Community fame will be serving as directors for the film, with Chris Evans set to return as Steve Rogers. We also know that the film will feature the folks from S.H.I.E.L.D., including Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow. Anthony Mackie also joined the cast as Falcon, who will also serve as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
We can now (likely) add one more agent to that list as Hollywood icon and Sundance Film Festival founder Robert Redford is in final negotiations to join Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Redford will play an older member of the secret agency, one that is being compared to Ralph Fiennes’ role in last year’s Skyfall.
The film is gearing up to begin filming this May and is set for a release in April of 2014. Joining Evans and Redford are Emily VanCamp, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Frank Grillo and CobieSmulders, as well as the previously mentioned actors.

A silly guess; Baron Von Strucker sucks out the life force from Steve and he’s old for a while ala Robert Redford lol.
Star Power? Forget that! Lets go for Legend Power!!!
