Don’t get too worked up, the star of Iron Man is OK. It is being reported thought that Downey sustained an ankle injury while filming a sequence for the Shane Black directed movie in Wilmington, North Carolina. Marvel Studio issued this statement:
Robert Downey Jr. sustained an ankle injury on the set of Iron Man 3 in Wilmington, North Carolina while performing a stunt. There will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates.
The injury appears to be minor, but there will be an unspecified delay in filming. Rest assured, it will most likely not result in the film’s release date being pushed back any. This may be a two day stop so RDJ can rest up and get ready to don the suit. Downey had stated that he wanted to be involved in more stunts this time around, and from previous things we have posted here you can see he’s had plenty of amazing stunt opportunities. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on the delay.

Drink a couple beers and get back to it. You’ll stop feeling it soon enough.
LOL
I’m not quite sure that’s wise for Tony Stark…
