With all the craziness that has been April Fools day, we here at Comic Book Therapy have remained committed to bringing you actual news. That trend continues in this post with Gotham making a pretty big announcement. We already have a lot of the major players cast in the series, but now we have gotten word of one more.
Based on the title of the article, you could guess that the character is The Riddler. However, what you don’t know if the actor who will be playing him. Corey Michael Smith has been cast as Edward Nygma in the Jim Gordon prequel series. Nygma is described as a brilliant but socially awkward forensic scientist who’s eccentric and outgoing and desperate to be liked.
As of right now, Smith has only a guest spot on the pilot for Gotham. But it is expected to grow to a series regular if the show gets picked up. The pilot for Gotham is currently filming, and will probably debut on Fox sometime in the Fall. You can catch up with the latest when it comes to Gotham right here at Comic Book Therapy.
